Order Placement: Products
are shipped from our warehouse in Canoga Park, California, unless otherwise
noted. Invoicing comes from the Sales office and payments should be made to
the address shown on the invoice. Orders are accepted in written form by fax
or e-mail only, with a valid PO # and authorization from your company’s
purchasing agent. Please ensure that your PO lists the model #, quantity,
price, and shipping method.
Acceptance: We
reserve the right to decline an order, in whole or part, when the type or
quantity of goods or credit worthiness of the purchaser is not satisfactory.
Prices:
Prices are not guaranteed and are subject to change without notice. All
shipments will be made at prices prevailing at the time of receipt of order.
Terms:
Payments may be made by credit card, (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express)
wire transfer, company check, money order or bank draft. L/C’s are accepted
for amounts greater than US $10,000 net. Established customers can receive 30
days payment terms with approved credit. Please call for Protex’s banking
details, if needed.
Delivery: Most
products, if in stock, can be shipped within 24 hours of order confirmation.
All shipments are shipped from Canoga Park, California. Transit time is
usually within 5 to 7 business days. Protex is not responsible for delays
caused by the shipping couriers.
Freight & Shipping: All products are shipped standard ground freight at Protex’s
discretion, unless otherwise requested in writing by the buyer. Orders
shipping freight must specify business or residence, lift-gate, dock, and
other freight requirements. All international freight orders must be approved
by Protex in advance. Terms and conditions of the freight are subject to
change without notice.
Shipment Method:
Products can be shipped using most major delivery services including courier,
ground, freight and trucking services. Orders received without shipping
instruction will be shipped standard ground freight and carrier will be
chosen at Protex’s discretion.
Special Order Items: All special order items such as specialty safes and private labeled
items are non-returnable and cannot be cancelled. A minimum 50% prepayment is
required to begin production.
Cancellations and Changes: A cancellation or change of an order may result in charges for
material or labor at Protex’s discretion.
Returned Goods Authorization: All RGA requests should include the following information, prior to
submission:
1. Proof of purchase, in a form of an invoice,
packing slip or an email, validating the rightful owner of the safe.
2. A photo of the defective, damaged or wrong safe
shipped. The photo can be either hard copy mailed to Protex, or a digital
version emailed or faxed to Protex.
3. A short description explaining the nature of the
RGA, whether the safe is defective, damaged or wrong safe was shipped.
All RGA requests are subject to approval and may take up to 10 days
to complete. We will not accept safes that are shipped to our warehouse
without the proper approval and paperwork.
Items damaged in transit must be reported to Protex within 48 hours.
Products may be returned for
credit to the within 30 days of purchase. No goods will be accepted for
return unless a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) has been issued. Goods
should be returned to the Canoga Park, California address only. Contact the
Protex sales office to request your RGA number. Returns must be in original
condition, unused and in original packaging. Credit will be issued at price
paid or current price, whichever is lower, less a 20% restocking fee.
Obsolete, discontinued or special products are non-returnable.
Manufacturing Defects: Manufacturing defects or missing accessories/parts must be reported
to Protex no later than 5 business days after receiving the product.
Product Warranty:
All Protex Safe Co. products are warranted to be free of defect in material
and workmanship. This applies when products are properly installed, used and
maintained according to installation guidelines. For a period of one year
from the date of purchase of safes and cash deposit boxes, Protex will repair
or replace any part that proves to be defective upon normal use, at our sole
discretion.
PROTEX AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR
ANY DIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF THE FAILURE OF ANY
OF ITS PRODUCTS OR DEVICES.
Corrections: We
expressly reserve the right to correct clerical, stenographic and any other
